which load do i use to program a new area code into my nortel pbx?

see faq tab above and click on what r most common load functions and how are they done.

Use LD 90

REQ NEW
CUST 0 (or whatever your cust number is)
FEAT NET
TRAN AC1
TYPE NPA
NPA (enter the area code you want to add)

Hope This Helps,

If you want to know what route to put it in just follow ccastillo's steps but at req type PRT. Then at NPA type in an existing area code in the same state as the one you're trying to add. This will give you the RLI and you can put the new area code in this same RLI.

coniglio is correct. I'm sorry I forgot to mention the RLI. It is always a good idea to print one out first to see what RLI you are already using. Then enter the RLI number at the RLI prompt when adding the areacode.

Thanks Coniglio
