Programming an additional shelf on a remote ipe cabinet

Can I program a shelf 1 on a remote ipe or do I have to use another superloop to configure it because it requires an additional controller. If I can how do I cable the cabinets together? These are wall mounted cabinets. Thanks

do u have an option 11c system? what release?

or is it a bigger system (61c / 81c) and a wall mounted cabinet in a remote location?

You can place a second cabinet on the existing fiber loop is you have only one cabinet. It will be connected to the first cabinet with a copper cable like the original Option 11 cabinets were connected. The cabinet will become slots 10 through 15. The last 4 slots are unusable.

If you have two cabinets already, then you must put in another superloop (either a new superloop or a shelf one of the existing loop). It must be installed just like the first fiber remote with all the equipment that was used to install the first one.
