Installed a T7406e on a CICS Rev 4.1. The customer has 4 lines but only 3 appear on the cordless. In programming all 4 lines say "appear and ring". ANY IDEAS?

Only 3 lines are supported.

On the cordless it looks like this on a M7310 if you had 4 lines as an example:
(The Bold part is the T7406e)

Line 1_______Blank key
Line 2______Blank key
Line 3______Blank key

Blank Key_____Blank Key
Blank Key_____Line 4

The idea is to bump line 4.
So add a Handsfree and 2 Intercom keys (or just 3 Intercoms keys)

So it would then look like:
Line 1________Blank key
Line 2_______Line 4
Line 3_______Intercom

Blank Key______Intercom
Blank Key______Handsfree

Now on the T7406e you will see:
4 lines
Blank key (that you can now program a feature)
1 Intercom key (for internal calls)

If you must have 2 Intercoms then add 3 in total.

If you turn auto relocate set off (temporarily) then plug in an M7310 then program buttons:
1
2________7
3________8
_________9

I'm late to the party, but if you remove all lines, exit programming, and then add just line 4 it will appear on the top left button.

Then use FEAT *81 to move line 4 to the top right button.

Finally, add lines 1 through 3 and they will take the three buttons on the left.

This will let you have handsfree (which doesn't appear on the phone), an single intercom button, and blank key for a feature (park, or page, or whatever), and the 4 lines.
