I'm using a Mediatrix 4102 Sip to Analog converter

I've set up the Associated DN as I normally would with an analog line

It does not work.

I cannot find anything that definitively says this is not possible.

The closest I can find is in the feature matrix it says that the Hotline feature is not available for the 5302 SIP phone.

Running on a vMCD 4.2 3300

Anyone got this working?

I have done exactly this on a linksys spa2102 and what I had to do was in the dial plan put something like 3100@192.168.1.2 where 3100 is the extension you want the auto dil to go and the ip of the controller. Also if I remember right there was a box to tick about auto dial

Can look more if you like?

I'll give that a try right away

Looking in some old docs I have on meristems you are looking for Automatic speed dialling in the web int of the mediatrix

Just knowing that it might be possible was enough.

For the Mediatrix:
- From the admin Web Page
- Select Telephony
- Select Services
- Select Port number to activate
- Find Sub section - Automatic Call
- Enable Automatic Call
- Program digits to dial

Thanks

Eventhough I'd found it before your last post, your efforts deserve a star.

Thanks again
