Hi

Does anyone know if it is possible to program a button on a MLS 18D to dial voice mail, without dialing intecom 777 each time you want to go into voicemail. I tried doing it with Remote ASC programming, but it will only let me put in 2 digits.

Thanks

Phil

Press FEATURE 00 > Select button > Press LEFT INTERCOM button > dial 777 > Press FEATURE 00.

can't you add a trailing # to the 777 which allows the vmail to automatically know which extension is calling, and eliminates the need to enter your mailbox?

Is it possible to do this with Remote Administration? I have 12 phones to do, and it would be much easier to do it once then upload my changes.

You can only put Intercom 777 on the button; you cannot add any digits after that.

On my home system, I looped an extension back to a CO port and gave it Intercom access only. Set up a speed dial button to dial 777p#[PW]#pp2pp0, so my wife only needs to press one button to check messages (and some other speed dial buttons for delete and next message). However, in a business that is not a good idea, because it exposes the password.
