We have our own 911 call center and recently, I have been asked to replace the 2 x M2616 they are currently using by 2 x M2250 consoles. All calls made to 911 or 7911 must end up on these two consoles. The problems is that I also have two receptionists also using M2250. All calls made to 0 not only end up on these two consoles but also on the 2 x M2250 I just installed in our 911 call center and I don't want that. I only want calls made to 911 or 7911 to terminate to our 911 call center.

How do I prevent calls made to 0 to go to our 911 call center?

Thanks!

CHANGE THE DN OF 0, MAKE IT AN ACDN AND NCFW IT TO THE NUMBER YOU WANT

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Thanks PERRYPJ, but I'm not sure I understand how this will work. I have 4 consoles all together. I want 2 of them to answer all calls made to "0" and "5011" and the other 2 to answer only the calls made to "911" or "7911". If I change the DN "0" and make it and ACDN, which number should I NCFW it to? It will apply to all 4 consoles no matter what, doesn't it?

Thanks!

Hi
Turn XLDN prompt in LD 15 to yes.
Then you can assign LDN number to the desired 2250.
But...the 4 x 2250 will answer to 0.
To completed your configuration you may setup the multi tenant service in LD 93(package must be present).
Regards

Thanks dlesap. I did that and it somewhat worked in the sens that when I dial a certain DN it goes to a specific console but if that console is busy, it goes to the other one anyway. I really need to separate the consoles. 2 that will answer calls made to 0 only and 2 that will answer calls made to 7911... I never setup multi tenant service, would I be able to achieve what I want to do with it? In the affirmative, can anyone give me a hint on how to set it up?

Thanks.
