on a 0x32 w/ 5.1 software all the user entered speed dial numbers on the one touch softkeys has been erased on all m7310 sets. i checked the event log and no serious maintenance issues were recorded. what would make this happened? to say the least the client is quite upset. any help is appreciated......thanx!

Nothing changed on ther rest of the telephone? Did they default to Internal Autodials or do they have incorrect External #'s?

there were no other changes on the set. it would appear the soft key buttons went back to a default setting with feature codes. the sets retained their original dn's and settings such as line button identifications.

very perplexed!

Default on keys above display is Internal Autodials. If all sets are not default, but the same, maybe somebody ran a Copy All.

i was just going to say what dewey said...are all the softkey buttons exactly the same on every set?

If someone did do a copy all, and it was a user, use that as an opportunity to change the password for the system administrator.

I did have one customer with a MICS 6.1, who called me right after a storm and said he'd lost most of his user programmed buttons on all sets. I assumed this meant he'd lost all programming, but I was wrong.

Apparently the hit they took was enough for the system to lose partial programming. Everything else was in order. I've never had that happen again, but now I know it could.
