I have a form with several controls. One is bound to a field of the underlying table. I want to store values that I calculate programmatical into this bound control. I get the message "you cant assign a value to this object".
I am hoping that someone has wanted to do the same thing and I would really appreciate help, as I am "stumped

You should be able to send values to a bound control as long as the record source is updateable and the control source is a simple field name. You haven't provided enough information to determine if this is your situation.

Thanks Dhookom, After some checking I found that the underlying table had changed and the control was not visible, so I did not see any error , It is all ok and works as expected
