Programmatically Editing Data Providers

I'm able to loop over a DP using a VB macro in BusObj.

I want to be able to apply some logic to that DP and insert data into another DP and the report to look at that DP.

If you can't insert data into another DP are you able to edit (i.e. delete rows, update values) while your looping over the DP?

I'm getting errors saying its a read-only property.

I would prefer the former to the later.

AFAIK you can't delete rows or update rows in a DP instead what you can do is change conditions to achieve the desired effect or maybe edit the query.
