Programmatically Converting a VBK

I need to work with messages retrieved from callpilot via IMAP on a server. Does anyone know of or have any documentation on the VBK file format?

It looks to be, at least in part, a G.711 blob; but any information concerning how to convert this file to an 'open' format (other than by using the client-side player) would be much appreciated.

.VBK is a Nortel proprietary format. If you use desktop messaging and it goes through a mail server (Outlook or something like that) it will change to a .WAV file.

I am also looking for a vbk to wav converter. Or a vbk / callpilot player that will run on Windows Mobile 5.0.
