Hi,

I´m trying to figure out which function allows me to dial external numbers withouth having to enter an access code.

We have configured access codes for calls through E1, but there are some telephones that should call bypassing this feautre. I have 1 telephone that our service provider configured. This telephone has a key programmed that give you the dial tone without entering the access code, but in current assingment I can´t see the feature configured, just appears ****** .

Does anyone know which key function should I configure ?
We have a Siemens Hipath 3800 with Optipoint 410 IP phones.

Thanks,

Samuel Lao

You would probably use a repdial key (DDS). For a repdial key you can normally program in any key sequence that you could dial from the keypad. Even the fixed function keys can be done that way (on my system C24 prior to the digits means press the transfer key).

If you need some other function key to do the bypass you would have to know the code for that function key in order to insert it.

Ok, I tried with repdial key but it doesn´t give me the dial tone.

I configured a Procedure key and it lets me wrote the prefix trunk and the access code. When I press this key, it give me the dial tone....well I would say that it works fine so far...

Thanks for help donb01..
Regards,

Sam
