A real estate office wants callers to be prompted to enter a 3-digit code and hear a pre-recorded message about a particular property. Callers also need to be able to break out of the recording and be forwarded to the listing agent.

Using VMPro, can I include $key values in filenames such that agents can dial a shortcode, enter a 3-digit code and record a $key.wav greeting?

Similarly, can callers dial to a menu, enter the code and hear $key.wav? This way I won't have to to setup individual mailboxes for each announcement to be played.

I have configured this on embedded VM by using an auto attendant for each announcement. That makes the breakout easy to manage as I can add the agent's extensions as AA actions.

I'm not sure about the best way to replicate this in VMPro, though.

Thanks in Advance!

You can use variables in WAV file names but if I remember correctly not $KEY. Instead copy $KEY into a $CPx variable and play i.e. $CP9.wav
