I want to programatically add a Microsoft Access Driver to the "Data Sources (ODBC)", (under Administrative Tools.) I'm not sure if you can do this programatically, if you can add a file, whatever... I have to do it hidden from the user. It's part of an install program... Cyprus

did you have a look in the registry ? when you create an odbc link the result is stored in:
hkey_current_user\software\odbc\odbc.ini\...
and
hkey_local_machine\software\odbc\odbc.ini\...

Hey, that's it! Thanks! That's exactly what I needed. It completely slipped my mind to look in the registry.

On a different subject, hennep, did I ever send you my latest title bar button code? Someone sent me a very nice bit, and also I bought a component from someplace that works great. If you want I can send it to you. I know that project kind of trailed off... Cyprus

I am certainly interested in code or components to create these buttons. I have never used the code again, it was too much work to implement it in a app.
Do you still have my email address, if not I will send you an email from the office tomorrow.

thanks,
Hennie

Why don't you. My outlook was wiped out a few months ago and I lost all of my addresses. Cyprus
