Hi

Can anyone tell me of a program that I can use to access an MSSQL database that is on my webhost. I need to be able to create tables and put data into them like you do in MS Access.

Much like MYSQL-Front or PHPMyAdmin for MySQL databases that are hosted on webservers.

Thanks for your help in advance.

You simply use the enterprise manager and point it at the database.

If this database is across the internet (ie hosted by someone else) the hosting company will need to configure their firewall to allow the ports that need and point them to the MSSQL DB.

These ports are: 1433 to 1434 and 445.

I tend to think if they have not got this already set up them you might has bugger all chance to get them to do it.

The other way to do it would simply write a simply web interface that you could execute SQL from and paste and run your SQL from there.
