Program shows up in processes but does not in applications tab of TM

I am having a issue when I try to launch a program (network general sniffer infinitream 4.2 console application) on my windows XP desktop. The application never shows up on my screen. When I check my task manager I see that the application exe(snifferinfinistream) executed on my processes tab, but I see that the process is not showing up on the applications tab of the task manager. Can someone please help me with a resolution to this issue. Tried reinstalling it atleast 10 times until now and the same thing repeats itself. This is not a application issue since its running fine on all other desktops with the same version and service pack of windows XP as mine. Any help with this issue is greatly appreciated.

From what you are saying it appears that your application is loading into memory but getting no further and is unable to fully load.

Do you have different security programs running on your machine compared with the other machines you mention?

Will you application load via "Safe Mode with Networking", or in Normal Mode, but as a different user?
