Program run in the background 1

I installed overnet.exe on my computer and have been running it for about a month now. Then one day, all of a sudden it wouldn't run. I would click on the icon on the quick launch bar and nothing would happen???? The program doesn't even show up on the task manager.

Then I noticed that the message "Item launched in the background" would appear on the status bar on the lower part of the screen. So somehow the program was being launched in the background!!!!

How it became that way, I wish I knew. My question now is how do I get to launch it in the foreground?

If you right-click on the icon, can you a setup mode?

If it does not appear in Task Manager, then it is not running.

Do the Trend Micro and Panda online antivirus scans:

http://www.mvps.org/sramesh2k/Scanners.htm

Then remove and re-install overnet.
