Hi i have a program that works fine using Domain controller rights in local area. The same program when i am using at remote desktop it shows run and when i double click it does not do anything. If i add admin rights or right click and say run as the same program working fine in remote desktop. What do i need to do in order to fix the problem. I dont want to add admin rights just because of that program.

Are you goung to be using this in a Terminal Server for all users? Also what TS mode is the server running in? For this to work correctly the server needs to be in app mode and the program installed while in app mode. The other thing that might work is give the users full rights to that app folder.

Does the app use a service that launches when the user logs in? if so can the service be set to log in a an admin instead as local service?

It is a VB based exe file. It is installed using administrator login at local computer. I have given remotedesktopusers rights for the users to login remotely and thats when the program is not working until i give admin rights.

It is a Windows 2003 server only few people uses remotedesktop from a different location thats the only time having issues with that VB executable file. I already gave full rights to that folder.
