Once of the licensed features is: Phone Button Programming

The Help files description says...
Helpfiles said:
Users can configure the buttons on their 6920, 6930, 6940, 5312, 5320, 5324, 5330, 5340, or 5360 IP phone from the Desktop Client. This feature is limited to users on MiVoice Business communication platforms only.

Anyone know how to do this?

News to me if that can be done from the MiCollab client. The only tool I've ever known to be end user accessible is the ESM Desktop Tool which I believe still requires Internet Explorer.

Used to be able to do it on what they now refer to as the legacy client ( version 7)

you need to create a login for the phone and it connects from micollab to the ip address of the handset

no longer available for next gen PC client ( alone with heaps of other things)

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

login is created under pc connectivity on 53 series , this also shows the phones IP ( doesnt work for Telewoerkers)

then add the feature to the client account and there should be an option from the client to connect to the handset

- similar to the user portal - lets them assign speed calls and some basic function keys

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....
