Program outside line to a 2616

How do I program an outside line into a 2616 model phone?

It depends.

If your DID range matches your DN's then it is easy. Just assign the DN to a key and thats it.

LD 11
req= chg
type=2616
tn=your tn
hit enter until it says key
at key prompt enter whatever button you are adding

key 0 scr 5555 (your dn)

then enter until done.

Outside as in a DID on a PRI or an Analog Trunk tied directly a key on the set?

First add the Trunk in Load 14. And use the printout as a reference. It all depends on what type of trunk you have. To point an outside number at a DN, you will use the ATDN prompt.
