Hey guys,
Is there a way to
(1) create a prompt that answers incoming calls and requires callers to press #1 if they are not a telemarketer to proceed?
(2) reconfigure the programming so that when one extension places a call on hold, ANY extension can pick-up that call? (right now, only the extension the places the call on-hold can retrieve the call from on-hold)

If you a AA / voicemail unit or disa card installed you can set options

Use line keys Or park keys if you have more lines than buttons

Thanks for the prompt reply!

There is a voicemail (TVA) attached to the system. Is that the same as creating a custom service using the Custom Service Builder via the console?

Also, I read that, by default, clicking the hold button once placed calls on "regular hold" and pressing the hold button twice places them in "exclusive hold" (which sounds like what's happening)? Could it be that somehow this default programming is reversed?

yes you can setup a custom service,

hold could be changed from hold to exclusive hole in system options
