Program can't find the complier

This has to sound real stupid but when i went to compile my program i got this message

"Cannot compile the file 'C:\visualC++\MSDev98\MyProjects\Beginings\Make\1.ccp'; no
compiler tool is associated with the file extension."

I'm new so please forgive me.

I think it is because you named the file "1.ccp" instead of "1.cpp".

you should create a new project witrh VisualC++, add this 1.cpp to your project, compile and run the compilled .exe
