My keyboard at home has a back button key, but the one I have at work does not. Is there a way to program a function key to equate to a "Back" button in Internet Explorer?
Alt-Left Arrow will send you back one page in the browser history (like the Back button). Alt-Right Arrow will advance to the next page in the browser history.
The Backspace key does not work on the screens that I use because it is considered an edit key on the forme that get displayed. The cursor is always placed in a text box in this application, but I'll keep that in mind when I am browsing Internet web pages. Thanks.
On a Mac it's different (isn't it always). I tested using Alt (which is known as Option for the Mac) on the left and right arrow keys (Safari) and had no joy. So this is what I found out...
For IE and Safari: Command-[ (back) Command-] (forward) Command-Left Arrow (back) Command-Right Arrow (forward)
