I recently inherited a BCM 50 customer.
To get into the system do I connect my laptop to the unit and use internet explorer and type in 168.1.2?

Is the BCM Element manager software built in?

thanks

Yes the element manager is built in. If you plug into the service/nic port, it should assign you an IP address (Don't recall what it is offhand), then just connect to the IP of the BCM. When you are in there, you can download Element Manager - Which you will need to install on your laptop in order to do anything.

When you install Elements Manager, Click the Network tab at top, drop to new network and enter the IP of 10.10.11.1 (default) and your user and password. Then you can choose the address from the menu at left. You can add multiple addresses here.
