Hi,

I have this Excel database that users save to. One of the users has a
problem:
1. Can save files fine when he is logged in as local admin.(shared
network folder target)
2. When logged in to his roaming profile(not .man) he saves, but the files
saved do not appear in the shared folder. They sort of seem to disappear.

I know that the local admin uses a different profile, so may there be
something wrong with his roaming? Any suggestions??

The first thing I would try is renaming the NTUSER.DAT (don't delete it, you may need it) in the user's profile directory. Then copy the ntuser.dat from the working local profile to the users roaming profile directory. Try the process, see if it works. If it does, then the problem is in the user's registry settings. I'd say do this to at least narrow the problem down. . . David Moore
