I've took over the Systems Admin posistion at my current company. I have some Win98 machines to deal with. One of the basic things I want to do is redirect the "My Documents" folder on all of my clients. The Win2K and XP machines are no problem with GPOs. However, I have to manually change the properties on the Win98 machines.
I log into the users machine with their credentials. I then change the properties of their "My Documents" folder to point to \\servername\home$\username.
I am finding that when they logout and then back in the next morning the setting is gone and it's back to the default C:\blah-blah-blah path.
There are a lot of other settings that won't save as well on the Win98 clients. Any ideas?
