HiHo,
can someone help me ?
I have to linux machines with ip 192.168.0.98 samba PDC
and a other linux machine with 192.168.0.97.

Can I create a share on the second server 192.168.0.97
to save the user profiles from the logon PDC 192.168.0.98?

My config for logons is

------schnipp-----
on samba PDC 192.168.0.98:

logon path = \\192.168.0.97\profile\%U
logon home = \\192.168.0.97\profile\%U
--------------------

on second linux machine with 192.168.0.97
I create a share named profile and set the
rights with chmod 0777 /profile.

Is this the right way ???
All works fine with Samba PDC - but gives it a way
that I can put my profiles on the second machine ?
must I install samba on 192.168.0.97 too ????

Ok thanks a lot for help )

all the best

Axel Machens
