We use profiles with Windows 2000. Recently one of the profiles is malfunctioning. That one profile is unable to use the Windows Explorer; resulting in "Desktop Recover" message. The other three profiles that we have set up are still functioning correctly. We are also unable to add profiles without having the same problem. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

You may have to delete and recreate that Profile. If you navigate though c:\Windows\Profiles and delete the offending profile from there. I assume these are just local profiles, not networked ones, in which case you would have to delete both, local and home directory profiles.
