I want to do the following with a laptop:
When I log localy, I use the local applications but when I am connected to the network and log in a domain, I would like to used the server applications. Any ideas how to do this? scripts? profiles?

Theres quite a bit here left for guessing. Right off the bat I would say for using your local applications, just log into your laptop on the <local> domain, which usually says <This Computer> after it. At your log in box where you press CTRL-ALT-DELETE to log in, you should see three boxes. THe bottom one is the domain. Use that to choose the "This Computer" option. If you dont see the third box, click the options button. If you still don't get the third box, then ask your network admin to help you join it to the domain at work. As far as using server Apps.. what kind of APps.. how are they set up.. with Terminal Services? You'll need a terminal services log in....Web Page Interface..?
