I have quite a few users who, when out of the office dial-in (using Dial-up Networking) to a Shiva D56, which gives them a network connection. They are then able to enter their NT user IDs and passwords to get access to the shared drives and other applications such as mail. Log in takes an inordinately long time for some, as the profiles are synchronised between the network copy and the local copy on the machine.

The OS on the laptops is Windows 95.

Is there an alternative suggestion for setting this up so that this delay is removed? Whether it means changing the domain policy, etc...?
