I need to reset a users profile. How can go about doing this. They are not using roaming profiles.

All of their desktop settings are screwed up and it would take me forever and a day to fix them all indivually.

Thanks

Nick

Make sure all the stuff they care about (my docs & desktop mainly) has been copied somewhere outside of their profile folder (docs&settings\username).

Then log on with an admin account. Get properties on My Computer. Advanced tab -> User Profiles\Settings.

Choose the profile of the user whose settings are screwed up. Delete that profile. Log off. (optionally you could copy the profile to a network location, then delete it, just in case)

Log back on as the original user, and a new profile will be created.
