Is there a standard for where the User Profile Paths are supposed to be stored?
They are currently on my Fileserver, but I am thinking about moving them to my DC to free up a little space and because the DC was just upgraded and I think it would decrease log-in time.

I do not have many profiles, so I could do it manually. Is it as simple as changing the path in AD to the new path where i want it to be stored? Or is this just a stupid idea to begin with.

Thanks!

Using a DC for roaming profiles...I dont know where to start on that one...a DC should ONLY be a DC...when you add more, expect problems.

You should be able to just copy, adjust ACLs (thatll be a must), and reset AD props and be good to go.
