Profile overwritten in XP pro

Recently I have been noticing on users pc that their profiles will be overwritten, wiping out all profile related info, I thought at first it was the recreating new profiles ie USERNAME.000, USERNAME.001 ETC issue , but after further review that isnt happening. Any ideas Basically when a user logs in their profile is reset to the standard vanilla profile,

Dell gx260s
