Profile Issues

All,

I seem to have issues from time to time with profiles on my Win XP Pro machines, especially if there is a major change made to the server.

The problem is that the machine will create a new profile "username.domain.xxx" so the users of those machines need to start from scratch again.

Is there a way I can stablize this issue or point the XP box back to the correct profile?

Running Server 2003 Standard Edition

i've used mandatory profiles which soled this problem, what changes do you make on the server?

Trying to do alot with what little I know. Thank you
