Product for Netware that allows backup of open files ?

Veritas has a product that backs up open files but doesn't come for Netware. Anyone know of another product that allows such a backup for Netware 5.0? The

The goal of mgt is user uptime of 24 hrs. :> Already running DLT for speed and need tapes for rotational requirements and emergencies.

Veritas does make Backup Exec for Netware, I'll be installing a copy next week. Or do you mean that the open file option doesn't work on Netware?

Look at the open file agent made by St Bernard Software.... it's the best in the industry

Current version of CA Arcserve and Veritas BackupExec license the StBernard open file solution for their own distributions because it is the best out there right now, and their own open file solutions SUCKED BIG FAT HAIRY TURNIPS! They both had a better chance at crashing your server than backing up an open file.

I have to agree with St. Bernards Open File Manager. It simply works!

Arcserve also has an open file agent. I would try Backup Exec over this if you don't already own a copy of Arcserve. FYI....It is also only supported with the Windows backing up Arcserve. It is not supported with Netware backing up a windows server (though I have gotten it to work.)
