prod cat not defined for new location -where sales?

Macola Progression 7.6.400b - pkgs ar/ap/oe/gl/im/po/sm

We created a new location without proper task completion. The one of the most concern to me is that the prod cat used for all items at this location was never defined for this location thru oe maintain prod cat/loc acct. Is there a definitive direction that I would look to determine where those sales have went?

Secondarily, when the location was setup, no association was made with im maintain matl cost typ/location -- when I go into this now it shows some default(I guess) account nums without the corresponding descriptions to the left. What could/would this have caused and is there a direction that I might begin?

I have answered the WHERE things went question through the gltrxfil -- while it is unclear where the default postings came from. My problem is solved.
