Since it appears that Symantec will not be developing a version of Procomm that is fully compatible with Windows XP, are there any other software packages that are XP compatible and will run Procomm scripts?

There are no such products that I am aware of. I'm not certain how many of the XP problems reported on the Symantec support forum are truly XP problems versus an incorrectly-configured Procomm, general Procomm bug, etc. If you already have version 4.8, you could try running under XP with Procomm in compatibility mode and see how that works for you.

i agree. i run 4, 5 even 6 concurrent windows of procomm 4.8 at any given time at work. mostly telnet sessions with a couple of dialups, and sometimes even a serial connection flashing code to a device. i never have it crash at all ... well due to procomm, and i never have procomm crash any of my other windows. only thing i have ever had crash xp consistently is a usb transmitter, but that is a different story altogether.
