procomm plus aspect script "Invalid Identifier" 1

This error message comes up every time I try to run the aspect script.


ERROR 5: Invalid Identifier

The script works just fine on Procomm Plus version 4.7 running on OS win95
Checked settings all are the same

I only get two lines that have this error, haven't been able to resolve issue.

fgets 1 PassInput
fclose 1

I'm running Procomm Plus version 4.8 on Windows 2000 service pack 2 5.00.2195
Your help or anyone's help you might be able to get would be gratefully appreciated

My hunch is that the file you are trying to open via fopen is not present on the Win2K machine or that the path to the file is different. You can test for this by using a structure like this in your script:

if fopen ...
;open successful, continue processing script
else
;open failed, display error message and cleanup
endif
