I have always wondered how you toggle between options when logged onto an SX2000.

I.e. what commands you use to toggle between programmable cards in sys config?

Thanks

Between CDE and Maintenance?

If so:
When in CDE press CTRL-J then enter MA on the command line
When In Maintenance enter CU on the command line

You can also enter DESKTOP from either one to get you to the Menu that allows ESC-6 and ESC-7 for either.

If I've assumed incorrectly, please be more specific on what you require.

I am not able to test what you posted - but this is what I mean:-

I want to program a card [i.e a DNI Card].

I go to cu, sys c to take me to the relevant form <sys config>.

I then could just type in what type of card it is - but how do I toggle through all the cards that are possible to program?

On a VT510 you would use the F11 and F13 keys IIRC...

Now I understand.

Procomm by default has the F2 and F3 keys programmed to toggle thru the options (In opposite directions)

If you have re-programmed the keys and don't know what they were they are prograqmmed as:

F2 = ^[OQ
F3 = ^[OR

Works a treat - they were the only buttons I didnt check!

Thank you!

Thanks for the star.

I think sometimes the the likelyhood of getting a star is inversly proportional to effort invested.

You deserve it mate. Believe it or not I have made do without the above functionality for the last 10 years - now I wished I asked sooner! lol
