Just an annoying issue.
I have used Procom Plus for years on many windows releases, with no problems.
Now, with the Windows 10 machine, (I love my XP), Procom will establish and work fine, but when you disconnect from dial up, the windows 10 machine is forced to reboot.

Just wondering if any one else has seen this issue and if so, if they have a fix?

Thanks
Dave

I have Procomm Plus 4.8 installed on my Windows 10 32 bit laptop. I haven't done a dial up, but have accessed a site via the Comm port OK last week. I use it in the same way that I did for my other copies of the program on other Windows computers such as XP and 7 etc.

My advice would be to uninstall it, reboot the computer and install it again, but use a different folder and keep it away from "Program Files" as this does cause havoc on capture files and updating the directory etc.

If your computer has another drive, then use that one as this is what I've done. I just changed the initial "C" drive with "D" drive and kept the rest of the file patch the same. Also don't bother with the live updates as they don't work.
