Dear Sir,

My problem is building a cobol application on Oracle backend.

Our environment details are

Hardware : Pentiums
O.S. : Windows 95/98.
RDBMS : Oracle 8.0.
Pro*COBOL : Version 8.1.6.0.0
MF/COBOL on Windows : Version 2.5.25

We are able to use embedded SQL in a COBOL program, precompile it without any problems, Compile it with the MF/COBOL compiler creating .obj file.

Our problem is in the area of linking the program with Oracle run time library, for creation of ".exe" file.

Despite the file being in the current directory, the "link" command gives a message saying "invalid library".

Can you please help me out of this problem?

Thanks,
Pradeep
