Anyone know how fast this processor is?
64 superscalar RISC microprocessor

It's in a Cobalt RaQ2 running linux. I am experiencing very SLOW page loads with cgi. Could it be this processor can't handle? I have also just maxed out the ram at 256mb. And seems to be no improvement.

Any sugesstions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
Anthony

The CPU speed is usually kept in the /proc/cpuinfo file. Check it and see if it's there. If not, you could always try and search on the web for that processor. //Daniel

When the cgi script is running, open the 'top' utility in Linux. This will show you the current CPU and memory utilization.
