on the whole I have found buying refurbed a better deal than repair
usually the price is close to the same and repairs typicaly have 90 day warranty refurbs 1 year.
in your case I bet I can find a higher rel level refurb for the same or less money than having yours repaired
plus no down time waiting for the repair
try business telephone sales 1-800-396-9699 for refurb I dont think they do repair but you can ask

Also try DL Business sytems for refurb 888-294-9589 - I agree with skip - better than repair
Failed processors are most often cause by failed power supplies. The power supplies are very difficult to get, hence the expense of repairing them.
I am going to add my vote for getting a refurb, and upgrading to a newer realease, at the same time.

You can get power supplies pretty easy paul, but if you change it and it ends up being something in the card then you have just spend 100 for nothing as they won't take them back and they tell you that right up front, so i would have to agree with you all, refurb is better.
