My small company has recently gone to Office 2000. One new problem seems to be using MS Word to process files created by WordPerfect. Since my company uses both packages, I wonder if anyone has encountered a similar problem, and has come up with a good solution. By that I mean, a method to preserve all the formatting created in one system when the file is opened by the other.

Hello Spanbridge,

What version of WordPerfect are you using?

If the difficulty is with documents created in WordPerfect not looking the same way in Word. I would check to make sure Word has proper conversion filters in place. "Tools" select "Options" then "Compatibilty" tab.

Another option would be to save Word/WordPerfect documents in Rich Text File format "*.rtf".
