Can anyone tell me why the processing time for a stored procedure report would be so excessive? If I execute the stored procedure in Query Analyzer, passing variables in, it processes in 1:40. When I create a stored procedure report in Cognos Impromptu, passing variables in, it processes in over 10 minutes! This is not acceptable, but I don't know how to get around the processing time. As a stored procedure report, it is automatically processing as database only. Any thoughts?
