Hi All,

I am having some issues where when i open a standard GM report is increases the mem usage up to 180,000+.

Does anyone know why this would happen?

thanks
Jason

I'm guessing that you are on Microsoft SQL. When running any report GoldMine must pull and process a lot of data prior to the actual printing of said report. This processing and data must be stored in memory until fully utilized.

Trouble is the processing power is increased and then the report does not run and GM for the user freezes as the processing power just keeps slowley increasing.

If you're on SQL your best bet is to use Crystal Reports - and not GoldMine reports.

No can do... got lots of users who all send reports to lots of external clients. All use GM reports so can export as rtf. All other users are not having any issuses.
