Hi people
i have a large client server app that until now has been runnign smoothly on the client machines. Just recently though a certain machine has started encoutnering errors that are far from the actual point of execution.
To give you an example a function to recalculate salary is flagging an error from a section of the code that deals with a managers request
The two are completely unrelated but are causing havoc on the users machine.
my instincts are to get them to re-install the software on their machine and rebuild their data. This does only happen on the one machine.
Has anyone encountered this before? Is a way of trapping for such uncertainties?
Thanks for any help
