This indicates that the document can not be found in the view were the user is trying to access it.
Possibly the document was created on another replica of the database (users on different servers for example). The link is sent immediatly but maybe replication occurs a lot later.
Untill replication has occured users will see this message.
Tell them to wait a bit, or see if they can work on another replica.
Thanks Dominic, I believe that the request came from one of our remote users who replicates over vpn. They replicate to get their mail and then replicate again to send it. Could this be part of the problem, or is it that the holiday database is on another server on another site, and has not replicated to my server correctly.
The user must make sure that the holiday database is also replicated to his local machine. If the e-mail arrives before the holiday database is completely replicated and the user click the linkn this will occur.
If you do not want to replicate the holiday database locally then you must make sure it is replicated to a server where the user has access to.
Again: if the document is not replicated yet and the user already has the link this message will pop up.
