Process Parameters greyed out

We have some reports where we can set any of the parameters on the Process tab and others where the second and third groups are grayed out.
Second group is
Use custom database logon information specified here
Third group is
When viewing report

WE particularly want to set to "Use same database logon as when report is run."
We cannot work out what causes this to vary between reports.

Can anyone give me any clues please?
