process multiple files

I need to have my ASP page either (1) upload a complete folder and its contents to my site or (2) read each files in a folder, upload it, then add related data to a database.

I have SAFILE and can upload one file at a time but don't know how to make this a 'batch' process. Any ideas? thanks.

The web server has no knowledge of the file structure on the browser machine so the only way you can do this is via client-side script.

Also the browser security settings might get in the way.
