I'm looking for suggestions for a utility to monitor system processes during the boot of the system. Something is running during the boot process that is sucking up temporary disk space on systems we have configured with the Centurion Guard security system. We had initially configured the temp space as 1 GB and started getting a "Write Delay Failed" error. We found if we increase the temp space to 3 GB, it takes longer for the error to come up, but it will eventually after the system sits for a long period of time, even if it is not logged into the network. Something is running and I need to find out what it is. Any suggestions for monitoring software?

If you can locate the Bootvis tool from Microsoft it will show you what is loading at Boot-up.

Enable Boot Logging:

This option enables logging when the computer is started with any of the Safe Boot options except Last Known Good Configuration. The Boot Logging text is recorded in the Ntbtlog.txt file in the %SystemRoot% folder.

Here are the Google links but I suspect you would have already traveled this path.

THank you both...will check on the suggestions.

Well, testedthe bootvis with no luck. I was able to run the software with no problems, only if I left the system unlocked. Once I locked the system down it would not boot when the software was running. The boot log really didn't show a whole lot so...will still be looking...
Thanks for the help/suggestions
